The Coutinho Half-Season Review

Barcelona has a long history of featuring many of the world's best Brazilians. From Roberto Dinamite to Romario, Ronaldo to Rivaldo, Ronaldinho to Neymar, Brazilians have played a role in many of the Catalan club's greatest ever teams. In January, Philippe Coutinho became addition to the catalogue, when he joined from Liverpool for a reported £142 million transfer fee. Great expectations were placed on Coutinho at the Camp Nou. Though the "little magician" did not quite hit the ground running upon his arrival, his form has reached scintillating levels at the end of the season, and he still closed the campaign with 8 goals in 18 appearances in the league, an impressive tally for a midfielder who joined in January.

Chase and Jimmy invited Gabriel Quiroga from @BarcaTalkPod to talk about Coutinho's performances for the club, and expectations for the future. They also found time to discuss Neymar's controversial transfer to PSG, Paulinho's first season at Barça, and Gabriel's hopes for Arthur.
